We bought Emjaytoo (a Bavaria 30 Cruiser) in 2007 at the London Boat Show after owning
Maggie-Jane
(a MacGregor 26X) for two years. Maggie-Jane was our first cruiser
after years of
dinghy sailing
, culminating in a Laser 16 which was a small cruiser without any accommodation! The MacGregor gave us our first taste
of big boat cruising. In her first year we sailed her on the Medway in Kent, or the "Mudway" as we liked to refer to it.
After a Centre Parcs holiday up at Port Zeeland on the Grevelingenmeer, we started to think about moving Maggie-Jane to the Netherlands. After
some investigative trips to the province of Zeeland, we settled on the Veerse Meer.
Being a "trailer-sailer" it was an easy matter to move Maggie-Jane to
Delta Marina
on the Veerse Meer. After a very sucessful first year, we started thinking about a bigger a boat and that's how we ended
up here!
